Suzanne Matthews was born and raised in
Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Auburn
University with a B.S. in Family and Child
Development. After college she married Ben and
moved to Madison, Alabama. They have four grown
children, and two granddaughters.
Professionally, Suzanne worked at the Huntsville
Madison County Public Library in the field
of marketing and development and later moved to
the Huntsville Museum of Art, serving as the
Development Director for six years. During these
years Suzanne attended Bible Study
Fellowship, became a leader and was called to
start the Evening Women’s BSF Class, where she
was the Teaching Leader for 14 years.
Suzanne currently leads a weekly Bible study
class for young women, teaches classes for her
church and several women’s retreats throughout
the year. She is a member of Saint Andrew’s
Anglican Mission and enjoys reading and oil
painting.
